What Toolbit is
Toolbit is a free set of technical calculators — subnetting, VLSM, number base conversion, password generation, cron expression parsing, and JSON formatting. There's no sign-up, no paid tier, and nothing gated behind a subscription. Using the site means accepting the terms on this page.
Using the tools
The tools are provided on an "as is" basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Each calculation follows standard, well-established logic (subnet arithmetic per RFC 950/4632, password entropy via the standard log₂ formula, and so on), but a result from this site is not a substitute for professional judgment in a production environment. Before applying anything calculated here to a real network, system, or piece of infrastructure, verify it independently.
There's no guarantee of continuous uptime, of the tools being error-free, or of the site being free from interruptions.
Acceptable use
The site may not be used to: attempt to compromise its infrastructure or anyone else's, send automated requests that degrade the service for other visitors, or use any tool — the password generator included — for unlawful purposes.
Intellectual property
Toolbit's source code, design, and published text belong to the people building the project, unless stated otherwise. Using the output of a calculator freely is fine — that's just data derived from what you typed in. Reproducing the site itself, its code, or its written content without permission is not.
Advertising
The site may show third-party ads (Google AdSense) to help cover its running costs. Toolbit doesn't control the specific content of any individual ad served by the ad network and isn't responsible for it. See the privacy & cookies page for how that works.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the people who build Toolbit are not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from use of — or inability to use — the site, including decisions made based on a result produced by one of its tools.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change as the site adds new tools or features. Continuing to use the site after an update means accepting the current version. Questions can be sent through the contact page.
